Corpos são paisagens turns the body of each participant into part of a landscape. At the opening of Sesc Guarulhos, on May 11 and 12, 2019, software working as an image filter captured visitors in real time and placed them in one of two settings from the city: Aeroporto Internacional de São Paulo/Guarulhos and Monumento aos Ciclistas.
Each image was laser-engraved, inked and finished. Together, the records formed a mural: 160 bodies turned into landscapes. The work was made in partnership with Dupla (Natália Calamari and Rodrigo Mafra).
The project began in 2018 as a graphic experiment by Monica Rizzolli at Sesc 24 de Maio, and had a version at IED São Paulo the same year.
